Some days, you just want to have a kir and wander your way to the Lot. That day was Saturday for me. We just found out the copper cable had been stolen again and our whole village was without phone and internet for the second time in a month.
I wandered out to the road in front of the Chatette to call Dad on the cell and let him know I was without AGAIN, and would call when I could.
That wander began with cookies and coffee. Then, lunch and a Kir eventually took me out and about the "compound" with my Kir in my hand!
While many people put the Kir in first and then the white wine, I do the opposite. It may not mix as well, but it comes together in a way that the color and flow is gorgeous.
I only realized when I got down to the Lot that I'd brought the just one wine glass that I'd bought myself for my stint in Cajarc. If I'd been paying attention I'd have had one of my daily use wine glasses with me...not the BEST one!
Who cares?
It is so pretty and made the photos even more special.
From the terrace, to the wagon, to the Lot in front of the Chatette, and then on down to the other side and the neighbors land...
...I hope you enjoyed my Kir wander!
Happy Thursday!
