Before going upstairs to bed last night, I could see that the moon had risen high above the causse on the other side of the Lot. It wasn't full, but I promised myself I'd get a shot or two before I drifted off.
The clouds were really rolling around. That first top shot was just not that spectacular.
I decided to open the side window and just watch it for a while.
The clouds painted a spectacular scene. At one point it seemed that the moon was being swallowed up in a pit of blue.
I was also pleased to see one of the very bright nearby stars actually show up in the photo, While nowhere near as plentiful or brilliant, there were moments that I could see Van Gogh's Starry Night.
It was fun to see the sweeping branches of my white birch and other foliage shadow the color.
There's obviously a reason that I need to be back upstairs.
Happy Saturday!
