Very early yesterday morning my time, I got off of a phone call to a friend from high school who has moved to California. As with my brother now, there is a nine hour difference between here and there!
We all have a lot going on in our lives. Sometimes, it's the voice that's important...not just the words on a computer screen.
As I hung up the phone and went to the kitchen for more coffee, I stopped dead in my tracks.

The opening shot is from my new workstation spot. I've made some changes and am enjoying my alcove beside the window. This is certainly an added and unforeseen benefit! It means that I won't be missing the morning magic when it's happening.
It always feels special and magical to me.
Omens of great days ahead...Reminders of the wonderful friends and family in my life...and, the many many blessings of just this spot!
