One of the chores on my list has been to paint the hood of the fireplace that delicate blue that has been so good to the Chatette. As time passes, stains and patches are rising to the surface so I wanted to go to work.
It wasn't a big job, but it required a ladder and will probably need a second coat.
When I finished up on Monday, I'd left the ladder beside the fireplace thinking I'd be ready for a second coat. It wasn't till I went upstairs to snuggle into bed with my book I thought, kitties! I came back down and took the can of paint off the shelf and put it out of reach.
Good thing!
We are just a laugh a minute around here. I never know what I'm going to find when I look up.
Opie is my hire wire daredevil who probably has some Spiderman in him.
Ollie aspires to great heights too, but his legs are thicker and stubbier.
Ladder yes, but scaling the beams and banisters...not yet.
I didn't expect to have so many "helpers" with my foster guys.
