While I can wax romantically about the colors of fall and the greens of summer and spring, winter is full of wonders that you just can't see during other seasons. I never gave it much thought till I came to the Lot Valley to live more full time. All that green and color hides some beautiful sights and buildings. These too, take my breath away.
This spot in the photo above is a favorite of mine.
I've shot it before. You can't see it on the other side of the river in "high foliage" seasons. It spoke to me again when I got out on my bike earlier in the week and headed toward Montbrun.
I hadn't planned to ride all the way there, but it was such a pretty sunshiny day that I just kept going.
On the way home, I stopped for a few of these photos that I'd consider "winter wonders!"
I leave you with another "winter wonder" shot that I took ages ago on the path between St. Cirq Lapopie and Bouzies I filtered it a little magically!
Happy Thursday!
