Social media is a blessing and a curse. It is important that each of us assess what does and doesn't work for us. No one is twisting your arm to participate, but when you do it's important to be clear about what your boundaries are.
Recently, I found myself joining more groups on Facebook. With the pandemic, it seemed that more popped up over time. I lean towards: critters of all kinds; Paris; photography; fine art; and most recently, barns.
Now, my sister and I are sharing pieces by favorite artists from time to time.
I've really enjoyed seeing pieces of favorites that I wouldn't consider "typical!"
We talk about them over messages and texts and on our weekend telephone calls, which are a must since there is 5000 miles and an ocean between us.
Then this week, I joined the Barn group.
I love seeing the pictures of barns from largely around the states and some from the rest of the world.
I knew I would share my own barn.
Any pictures you share must be your own photos.
I began sharing last week, with amazing responses and comments.
I know how special we are here, but it's nice to hear from others who support that and remind me what treasures have come to me in Cadrieu.
Facebook groups have brought me pandemic pleasure and joy.
Happy Monday!
