This is my life: roses; grass cutting; general gardening; and Lola, of course!
I went out this morning to soldier on with the rest of the big yard, wondering all the while how I was going to work around all that bamboo.
I did the best thing.
I just jumped right in and decided as I moved along.
First, I realized that the bamboo was spaced far enough apart that I could get the lawnmower between them.
Seeing what a great job it did holding up my softly spring pink flowering tree, made me happy. That tree is in the best shape it's been in since I purchased it ages ago.
The bamboo is also a much prettier stabilizer that the tall, heavy, iron bar that's out there now.
In fact, the tree seemed to move away from the iron towards the bamboo all on its own.
The seal on the bamboo deal was when I also noticed that they had somehow spaced nicely and evenly under my wisterias and were holding them up too.
Who'd have thunk that bamboo could be so useful and cooperative when all it appears to be doing is taking over.
I say this so often, I might sound like a broken record, but being here all the time is important. Being here, allows me to take my time, pay attention and try to work with what I have. It appears that I am trainable.
I'm learning new and valuable lessons all the time.
Happy Tuesday!
