It's unusual for this table to be free and clear, so I have to scoop these pretty shots when the time and the lighting is right.
This morning all the elements were aligned.
This spot really is the center of the activity of the Chatette and has been since the very beginning of our time together.
There have been different evolutions of the space over time, but it's always been special to me through the years and the changes.
The opening photo is today (this morning in fact).
The next two were taken the very first time I was able to spend an afternoon here on my own during 2002, after I made the purchase. This was the "starter" furniture for the Chatette.
These days, we have: double glazed windows; lace table cloths; many more of these chairs that I love; Nannie's Deer/Vase Centerpiece; cushions for the chairs; flowered window boxes; and, monster furniture.
I can still resurrect those early moments of here, when the Chatette and I were beginning this journey together.
When I look back at the almost 20-year chunk of time in my life, I can say that it was the "best" of times and the "worst" of times.
But, it's never lost its magic, wonder, romance, or the meant to be that this place is in my life.
Happy Monday!
