Last time Sammie cat and I were in St. Louis together, we had our Dali with us. We miss her. Everything is different everywhere now and for lots of different reasons. We keep moving. We keep responding. We try to plan, but planning these days is close to impossible.
So, we take it a step at a time. We put one foot (or paw as the case may be) in front of the other. Sometimes, we know what's next. Most times, we are flying by the seat of our pants and hanging somewhere between a wing and a prayer.
Leaving for New Orleans on Wednesday morning, we should arrive home that evening. Although I would have loved to have been in St. Louis to see my parents and their home receive their century award, I have a date with the Dalai Lama in New Orleans on Friday. We need all the reslience we can get!
