During December 1977, I donned the colors of Tulane University when I graduated with my MSW from the Tulane School of Social Work. This December, 13, 2013, I will be donning them a second time; but this time as a member of the adjunct faculty of the school I graduated from. It's difficult not to reflect on that day in the past, former class mates, and all that has happened in those 36 years in between. But, it's different. As sweet as it is in the looking back, is exciting and moving as it is in the looking ahead to fresh, young, social workers ready to meet the challenges our world has to offer today. I'm proud and honored to have had the privilege to work with the Tulane School of Social Work Class of 2013. SOAR to Success in SOCIAL WORK with me, Laury A.
