I have always found cemeteries to be "more" than a place of burial. I like to think of them as the first step or the launching pad on our journey to the other side. As much as I enjoy them, you won't find me there. I'm a cremation girl. There's something about scattering my ashes to the wind, that feels free, easy and me. Even though I know I'll be "free, easy and me" no matter how that ending goes; the idea of kissing the banks of the Lot River one more time before I begin another chapter, makes me smile.
