Today is the day when gratefulness is at the top of everyone's list. I try to keep it at the top of mine on a daily basis. It helps me center and focus on the moment, while trying to pay attention to the movement and flow to my life. Today, I want to say thank you in a little bit bigger way to my friends, colleagues, staff, and students at the Tulane School of Social Work.
So many pieces and people came together in a way that helped me give form to a new life in New Orleans. Before I ever even left from France, the wheels were in motion. Thanks to Carol Miles, Julianna Padgett, Lynn Pearlmutter, Ron Marks, Vivian Smith, Bonnie Lister, Kathy Smith, Cindy Sykes, Joe Halm, Parker Sternberger, Elaine Wright, Ron Mancoske, Al Alcazar, and of course...my students. There are too many students to list, but as I've told many of them (and you know who you are) time and again..."You give me hope for the future." And, that's a lot to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
