It should be no surprise that an essential element of Unwind #2 is Unwind #3: wine. Whether it's a sip of an almost black Cahors wine at dinner or a kir as an apero, you will not be disappointed. Of course, the wine is excellent (Chateau Croze de Pys-Cahors is one of my favorites), but I find that the environs add a whole 'nother layer to the experience.
Imagine sipping a Cahors from the terrace as you look up at the Chateau. Or, you may decide to relax in your room with an apero, gazing out at the river, after a rewarding day of learning and discovery. You may also decide to wander down to the Lot River with your glass and your bottle of Cahors, dangle your feet in the water, and pour yourself a glass to enjoy while you relax to the rhythm of the water. Of course, spur of the moment Wine at the Wagon events are not unheard of. Your options are endless.
And of course, you don't have to be sipping on wine to soak up the beautiful scenery and surroundings. You have many options to choose from that don't include alcohol.
Won't you join us at the Chatette in June, where you will be able to hone your social work skills and unwind surrounded by peace and magic! Hope to hear from you soon.
