For those of us who are Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) in Louisiana, it is relatively easy to become a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS). This means that you are then certified to supervise new LMSWs who would also like to become licensed. If you are interested in learning more about that process, you can go to www.labswe.org and find the list of specific requriements.
One of those requirements is that you attend a 6.5 hours Board Approved Supervision workshop in preparation. I offered this workshop at Tulane on Friday, March 28, 2014, and will be offering this same workshop again in France on Friday, June 27, 2014. Although I've already forwarded the workshop results to the Board, Tulane, and the workshop participants; I like to post them here, as I promised I would during the workshop. Over the next few days, you will also see the results of the two workshops I presented on Saturday.
