Working on clearing the land out behind the Chatette and the barn during 2010, I discovered that the previous occupants must have sailed their empty beer bottles off the back terrace into the overgrown land. I was shocked to find so many, but decided to just line them up on the ledges of the cliff I was clearing. I must confess, the green does look pretty and adds a little cultural and historical note to the history of that land. Yesterday, I found one on the other spot I was clearing. It's not a collection by any means, but this lone soldier will join the others on the ledges. Rather pretty, don't you think?
