Louvre-ing It!

 

 

I chose to get off at the Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre Metro stop to get to my next destination. Through the archway across the street from the stop, the Louvre does its own share of sparkling in the setting evening sun.  Seeing the contrast of the Louvre pyramids against the rest of the builiding as you pass through the arches always takes my breath away. The crowds had thinned. It appeared they'd moved on to my next stop at the Pont des Arts.
