On foot or by bike, I have my usual routes through Ferguson that I enjoy taking. They get me where I want to go, but keep me off the main thoroughfares that tend to be busier, nosier, and just not as pleasant. I have a favorite route to Aldi's and the post office in downtown Ferguson. I cross Hereford over to Clay where at the end of the street there is a walkway that takes you across the train tracks straight to the back intersection for my destinations.
Heading down the sidewalk that takes me along side and behind a property to the train tracks, I discovered a huge pile of tree trunk pieces that caught my eye. The size, color and texture were fun, but then I saw it: "NO TRESPASSING!" Since my last trip, the railroad had posted these signs on both sides of the train tracks. I can understand why, but I was still disappointed. But, I have another idea for next time...there's a way.
