As a child (and as a grown-up too), I loved my dolls. I've mentioned before that all of my dolls had full wardrobes; clothes for every season sewn by my Mom. I'll never forget the Christmas that this Cathy baby doll by Madame Alelxander came into my life. Not only did she have a full wardrobe of clothes, but my Papa had made us a very special doll bed and wardrobe to hang all those clothes in.
After the storm, the doll bed and wardrobe went to live in the basement at 411. My brother Jim loved the wardrobe and took it to Kansas City with him.
During those last 4 months in Ferguson, Jim brought it back to me and it is now here on Columbus Street along with the doll bed. Look what you can do with things from your childhood when you think creatively! My Columbus Street bathroom has become a very special place full of love and memories!
