Last summer, I discovered these beautiful antique postcards at a little shop in Figeac. They are from the early 1900's and published by Douce France. Kat and I had been talking about all the crafts projects we were going to work on together during my final four months in Ferguson last year. I'm sure you can imagine the rest of that story.
I have them here with me on Columbus Street, even the ones that I had sent to Kat during last summer from France.
Now, with the Egg-Press Write-On Campaign; I have a whole new reason to resurrect my favorites here and get creative. Sadly, the vertical cards do not work well for this project. It's all coming together in bits and pieces.
With a letter a day during the month of April, or 30 in April...you just might be one of my lucky recipients. The campaign not only encourages you to write and send letters; it pushes you to do it in an interesting and creative way! Isn't it nice to get handmade surprises by "snail" mail?
I've discovered a few favorites in the midst of this process. Look at that photo at the top. Any guesses on which ones they might be?I should add that many of you are already on THE LIST. If you would like to receive one of my creations, drop me a note somewhere with your address and off we go!
Ah, to be writing from the PMU in Figeac while I wait to catch the bus home!
Happy Letter Writing!
